I was born in Larnaca in 1992. That makes me a millenial, a 90’s kid and on the verge of having a quarter-life crisis. Ever since I was a child, I remember myself asking a lot of questions with profound curiosity. I remember being buried among book pages and eating away the words with my eyes; and gosh, I loved it. This later transformed into an incessant desire to explore more about the world, the mind and who I am — although the latter pushes us into a whirlwind of numerous existential discussions so for now, I will not get into it extensively.

Writing for me is a way of self-expression and healing. Most of the time it’s messed up, mainly because the thoughts are raw and true. In this mad world, there are a lot of things that concern me, and I knew I was not alone. From feminism to climate change, from queerness to existential crises; looking at the world from a perplexed perspective. Sometimes I am a hopeless romantic and an optimist, and sometimes a hardcore cynic. I hope my words reverberate to some of you. If yes, welcome to the dark side. If not, well, c’est la vie.
